KYN28-12 Metal-Clad, Center-Position, Withdrawable Switchgear

Scope of application

The KYN28-12 type (GZS1) indoor metal-clad, center-mounted withdrawable switchgear (hereinafter referred to as the switchgear) is a three-phase, 50 Hz AC indoor complete switchgear assembly designed for receiving and distributing electrical energy in networks ranging from 3 to 12 kV, and for providing control, protection, and monitoring functions for electrical circuits. The relay compartment panel of this product can accommodate various types of microprocessor-based comprehensive relay protection devices, enabling intelligent system control with remote control, remote measurement, remote signaling, and remote adjustment capabilities. The system is controlled via a CAN bus equipped with communication interfaces, allowing it to network field devices. Moreover, the switchgear features “five-protection” functions—namely, preventing accidental operation of circuit breakers, preventing the insertion or withdrawal of hand carts under load, preventing the closing of grounding switches while live, preventing energization of grounding switches when they are in the grounded position, and preventing unauthorized entry into live compartments. This switchgear can be equipped with either VS1 (i.e., ZN63) or ZN12V vacuum circuit breakers, or alternatively, with imported VD4 vacuum circuit breakers paired with VC-series vacuum contactors.

 

Model and Meaning

 

Operating environment conditions

● Ambient air temperature: Upper limit +40℃, lower limit -10℃ in most regions;

● Altitude: 1000m;

● Humidity:

Relative humidity: The daily average shall not exceed 95%, and the monthly average shall not exceed 90%.

Water vapor pressure: The daily average shall not exceed 2.2 kPa, and the monthly average shall not exceed 1.8 kPa. Condensation may occur when the temperature drops suddenly, accompanied by contamination. This product is suitable for the following two environmental conditions that are more severe than normal conditions:

(1) Condensation occurs infrequently (averaging no more than twice per month) and exhibits mild contamination.

(2) Condensation generally does not occur (averaging no more than twice per year), but there is relatively severe contamination.

● Locations free from fire hazards, explosion risks, and corrosive gases or other harsh conditions that could severely damage metals and compromise insulation;

● Locations without severe vibrations, bumps, or vertical tilts exceeding 8°;

Note: (1) Storage and transportation are permitted at -30℃;

(2) For areas with an altitude exceeding 1000 m, the provisions of JB/2102 “Technical Requirements for High-Voltage Electrical Equipment Used in Areas at Different Altitudes” shall apply. When the altitude does not exceed 2000 m, no special measures are required for low-voltage auxiliary equipment.

(3) When the actual operating conditions differ from those described above, the user and the manufacturer shall negotiate and reach an agreement.
